Product Description
SUZUKI TR750 / GT750 MOUNTS & WATER PUMP DRIVE GEARS FOR LHS FITMENT OF ELECTREX / HPI IGNITION TO TR IGNITION CASING.
This is for the mounting plates, taper changer, retaining nut, both steel water pump drive gears, keys, cutting of the keyway and machining of generator rotor.
You need to send in your HPI / Electrex rotor for Keyway cutting and taper adjustment. Without a keyway it is a pain to put the rotor back on in the same place, and will always need re-timing (Keyway cutting included in price).
The mounting plates allow for some adjustment of the timing by rotating the ignition coils although this will do the same adjustment to all three cylinders.
We would also strongly recommend that you send us your water pump drive shaft so that we can fit the drive gear to this for a small fee as it is a press fit and the gear is quite thin so it is easy to crack the gear if you don't get the tolerances quite right. We stock replacement bearings for the gear end of the shaft if you wish this to be replaced at the same time.
Includes lightweight aluminium mounting cap screws and one-off lightweight aluminium anodised retaining nut.
