TR750 XR11 DRY CLUTCH VENTILATED OUTER BASKET
Made from 7075 aluminium and hard anodised these outer baskets are as durable as can be.
Made with the original profile to fit with original TR750 plates they do feature ventilation holes which were never present on the original clutches but do feature on every modern clutch.
As you may have noticed TR750's had multiple clutch designs for the outside of the clutch with larger and larger scoops and eventually running totally open in a vain effort to keep the clutch cool. Much later they realised that without holes in the inner and outer basket there would be no flow through the clutch plates. In this way it works rather like a vacuum cleaner pump throwing the air out centripetally and sucking it in through the side.
Will fit with all existing TR750 clutches and make a distinct improvement as well as weighing less. These vents will be visible although not in your face so if it's a pure visual replica you want then probably best to have the solid sided version we have listed separately with oil weep holes only.
