KIPS BOTTLE SPACER PLATE AND STAINLESS STEEL CAP SCREWS
Increases volume of KIPS resonator bottle to give better bottom end with no reduction in top end!
This modification allows the change of tuned length of the exhaust when the KIPS system is open to the resonator bottle to improve performance there - it does not affect performance where the system is not open to the bottle. Although we have yet to have a completely standard KMX200 on the dyno (most are by now a combination of 125 & 200) the dyno graph (in the photos) shows the effects of the spacer plate on a bike which we have had here.
The actual horsepower improvement is fairly small on the example shown, but you can see that across the range from 3,500 to 5,300 rpm there is around a 6-8% power increase. You won't find a simpler power increase of the like for comparable money. More than anything else this mod makes the bike easier to use day to day.
Please note that you are purchasing one spacer and three stainless steel cap screws only.
Also note that stainless steel cap screws were not used in the photo, but look much better!
