    SUZUKI GT750 / TR750 / XR11 ALUMINIUM HEAD NUTS AND TITANIUM HEAD BOLTS SET

    This is a set of drilled, black anodised aluminium head nuts and titanium shanked head bolts saving over a kilo over standard items.

    Anybody who owns a GT750 or a TR750 or is working on a TR750 replica project knows the serious weight of one of these engines!

    These are one of the many modifications which we're making to reduce the weight of the GT750 to TR750 standard to increase performance and handling or help create replicas that look right.  

    The original GT750 head bolts and nuts weigh 1.5kgs

    these weigh only 348g a saving of over a kilo!

    This may not sound like an enormous amount of weight saving on its own but shaving off weight from each item ends up with a significant difference to the sum mass.

    The head nuts are made from 2014 aluminium, drilled right through to save weight and are black anodised to prevent corrosion and improve the look.  They copy the nuts featured on the later model 'Tepi' bike, with thanks to Team Classic Suzuki and SW for the loan of the vehicle. 

    The head bolts are titanium with pocketed heads and shanked as per the original bolts.

    Also includes the M10 x 1.25 Ti Flanged nut for the cylinder Base.

    Another great advantage of having these nuts and bolts (particularly when combined with the titanium studs sold separately), is that they will not corrode in the holes and jam the barrels on!  GT barrels are well known for being fiendishly difficult to remove - often requiring a special removal plate, major heat, several men and a large hammer.
