FULL SET OF GR5 TITANIUM CRANKCASE BOLTS
These are titanium crankcase bolts for weight reduction.
Anybody who owns a GT750 or a TR750 or is working on a TR750 replica project knows the serious weight of one of these engines!
These are one of the many modifications which we're making to reduce the weight of the GT750 or TR750 to increase performance and improve handling.
The original TR's had titanium bolts as well and we have copied the head shape to replicate them. Of course these come with the advantage that they do not rust and give the engine an air of refinement.
The original GT750 base studs weigh in at 1.15kg
- these weigh only 0.68kg a saving of almost half a kilo!
We strongly recommend you run a tap down all the threads before assembly. Some of them can / need to be made deeper, as these engines and cases vary considerably.
The bottom crankcase needs machining back 24mm on the #1 bolt as shown in the picture to use our titanium bolt or the original 13cm bolt can be used in this location.
Also includes Hard Aluminum washer for each Bolt.
