Flywheel lightening service

This is a service only to lighten your flywheel which you must supply to us.
We machine the outside diameter of the flywheel and pocket the front face with our CNC mill.
This improves throttle response, acceleration and also (by reducing gyroscopic forces) makes it easier to change lean angle without affecting the charging system.
One step down from a full race generator this is a good performance modification not a cheap imitation and is most appropriate for performance gains on road going machines.
The example images are of a TZR250 flywheel which reduces the flywheel weight by around 15% and of course as this is removed from as far out from the centre as possible it reduces the inertia by a larger percentage.
